About Me
Hi there!
I’m Edie (she/her), the witch behind Homespun Unrefined, where I share practices that I’m exploring in my Witchcraft Journey along with witchcrafting projects that you can do at home!
Ever since I was a little kid and watched Kiki’s Delivery Service, I knew that was who I wanted to be or who I was. For the longest time, I dreamt that I would turn 13 and fly away on my own broomstick with a little black cat.
It’s hard to determine when I really started my journey because I have always felt like a Witch in my soul. Like many of us, I loved to read about astrology as a young teen, surrounded myself with nature, and was gifted my first deck of tarot cards when I was 15 yrs old. Some practices, like journaling and tending to plants, I’ve been doing for years but my real spiritual journey started as late as 2022.
This was the year that I experienced my first circle session and dedicated time and learning to the craft. Since then, I have continued to learn and apply my practices to my day to day. I’m passionate about sharing insights and tips to help witches explore their own paths and finding their own peace in this world.
Homespun Journey
My blog will cover a range of topics including meditation, crafting, divination, and maybe even some kitchen witchery, offering inspiration for all witches or crafters.
The nice thing about witchcraft is everyone’s journey is unique to them. Each witch I meet in the world has his or her own skills, interests, and stories that are special to their journey. The things I share aren’t how it’s done or how you should practice; they’re just how I am guiding my own practice. Hopefully it’ll inspire creativity for others here and there as well.
I hope you’ll join me on your own journey! Explore the blog and feel free to subscribe to my email list where I’ll be sharing monthly crafts and practices for witches.
In addition to this blog, I’ve been working on starting my own YouTube channel. There, I’ll be sharing other DIY projects including video tutorials for witchcrafting projects.
